Evaluation
Evaluation, Written Report, & Review
Initial speech-language and occupational therapy evaluations will be completed which include parent/caregiver interview, review of pertinent medical history, skilled observations, and direct testing. Evaluations typically take 1 to 1.5 hours for each therapeutic discipline. After this, the therapists will score the assessments and compile a written report which will be reviewed with you in person or via video conference at a later date.
*Evaluations are required prior to beginning therapy services.

*Evaluations completed by Little Palms Pediatric Speech & OT are required prior to the initiation of therapy services. This ensures sessions will be targeted to the priority areas that we have determined as a team.
30-minute sessions will only be available to those taking place at your child’s daycare or school. A minimum of 45-minute sessions are required for all other settings.
If a family has more than one child requiring therapy, inquire for discounted sibling rates!
Individual speech or OT sessions (led by only one therapist) are available on a case-by-case basis.

Introductory Call
If you have concerns about your child’s development, you can book a no-cost 10-15 minute phone consultation with us to determine if our services are the right fit for your child’s needs.
Speech & OT Treatment
Two-on-One Joint Sessions
Treatment sessions focus on working toward goals that the therapists and family collaboratively set together. Sessions range from 30-75 minutes in length, and involve the use of therapeutic approaches and activities.
*Evaluations are required prior to beginning therapy services.
*Treatment prices reflect co-treat sessions led by a speech pathologist + occupational therapist.

social & Play groups
Skill-Based Classes
Social & play groups address and strengthen many areas including communication, peer modeling, inclusion, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. Designed and by a pediatric speech pathologist and occupational therapist, groups will incorporate stories, music, sensory play, and fine/gross motor activities and games. Classes run for 50-minutes followed by 10 minutes of questions and answers

Evaluation
Based on your concerns, your child will be evaluated using a combination of informal and formal assessments in conjunction with a parent-provided case history report. Our goal is to keep this step fun!

Evaluation Review
After your evaluations are completed, we will formulate a personalized plan to support your child’s unique needs and call/meet with you to define your child’s goals and frequency of treatment.

Therapy Sessions
Our speech therapist and occupational therapist will begin fun, collaborative sessions for a 6-month plan of care to address all goals. Goals will be reassessed every 6-months.
We have a 15-mile radius for travel. We offer travel outside of our 15 miles at a rate of $20 per 10 miles.
